Just Extended: Deadline for Grant Funding for Cybersecurity 

NYSDHSES has just announced an extension of the State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program. 
Below are the details and how to apply:

•The New York State Division of Homeland Security & Emergency Services (DHSES) is soliciting applications from eligible entities through a competitive application process aimed at improving cybersecurity posture through providing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) hard tokens to successful entities in a shared services model. 
•Funding for this initiative is made through the Combined FY2022 and FY2023 State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program (Combined FY2022 and FY2023 SLCGP) which is a federal grant program that is jointly administered by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the federal Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and is aimed at strengthening cybersecurity practices and the resilience of state, local, and territorial (SLT) governments.
•The Request for Applications (RFA) and all the related materials are posted on the DHSES website at: https://www.dhses.ny.gov/federal-programs. 
•The deadline to submit your application has been extended to November 19, 2025, by 5:00pm.  Complete applications must be submitted by the November 19th deadline. 
•Please be sure to sign and submit the Local Consent Agreements to [email protected], if you have not done so already, to complete your application submission.
